APPLY Go to go.unm.edu/apply to submit an online application by the deadline for the term you want to start. Or send a hard-copy application. Hint: an online application will get a faster response. APPLICATION FEE Go to go.unm.edu/appfee to pay the application fee or provide an approved fee waiver. Waivers include waiver forms from the ACT and SAT testing services. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS Have schools/colleges send o²cial transcripts directly to: UNM O²ce of Admissions, PO Box 4895, Albuquerque, NM 87196-4895 STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES Have ACT or SAT scores sent from the testing service. Designate UNM as one of the schools to which scores should be sent. UNM’s ACT code is 2650; UNM’s SAT code is 4845. GRADES Finish strong. Don’t get too comfortable in your final year of high school. Students who finish big tend to start college strong. COURSEWORK Have you taken everything you need to take? Talk to a guidance counselor. Make sure you’re ready for the transition to college. ACT & SAT Be ready. Start preparing in your junior year. Study. Test. Study. Retest. Remember, your highest scores are the ones that count. LAUNCH PRE-LAUNCH A day just for high school seniors.
